My name is Michal Folprecht, and I'm the creator of Oplero – a project management app that's simple, clear, and affordable.

My Freelancer Journey

I've been working as a freelancer for over 10 years, and during that time, I've had the chance to try almost every project management tool available. Teamwork, Asana, Trello, ClickUp – I went through them one by one, always hoping to find the right tool for my work.

The Problem I Was Solving

With each new app came the same disappointment. They were either too complex with dozens of features I never used, or unreasonably expensive for what I actually needed. I didn't want to pay hundreds of dollars monthly for features that just got in the way of my productivity.

The Birth of Oplero

That's why I decided to create my own solution. An app that does exactly what I need – nothing more, nothing less. I wanted a tool that is:

• Clear – everything essential at first glance
• Affordable – fair pricing for real value

From Personal Project to Public Service

Initially, I built Oplero just for myself. But over time, I realized I wasn't the only one struggling with these problems. Many other freelancers and small teams are looking for the same simple alternative to bloated project management giants.

So I decided to make Oplero public and available to others as well.

Today

Oplero is the result of years of frustration with existing tools and thousands of hours of development. It's an app built by a practitioner for practitioners. No unnecessary features, no excessive prices – just what actually helps get work done.
